I found your post more than a year before at vm-help.com about the VT6130 NIC, and make it work under ESXi 4.1. First of all, please let me thank you for your help and support about it – it worked like a charm.

Today, still using my HP MicroServer for ESXi – but this thime with v5.0.0. I think it is superior in many ways to the 4.1, for example I’m able using USB devices now.

I would like to ask a question about your VT6130 driver. This is unsupported in the ESXi 5.0 as well as was in the 4.1.

Is there any way to make it work? Do you have any experience with it? I found only one information on the following page: http://andysworld.org.uk/tag/esxi-50/
